    Used this gauge to replace an old gauge on the race car. These are VERY EASY to hook up. There is wiring for the lights which is simple to connect. It's a very accurate gauge, and easy to read. The gauge itself is very light weight.

    I wish all auto manufactures would have as standard a Water Temperature Gauge. But if yours doesn't, there's AutoMeter. This one works wonderful and keeps you informed your engine's coolant temperature. Highly Recommended!

    If you have a Ford pickup truck, you probably know that the factory temperature gauge is nearly useless. This gauge does exactly what I needed -- tell me accurately how hot my engine coolant is getting -- and was pretty easy to install. I especially like how when you turn on the headlights, the numbers dim and the "WATER temp" label lights up. Nice touch. Autometer is right about the numbers not changing too quickly, either -- it's not distracting at all while driving.

    Using it on the instrument panel for my sailboat's diesel engine. Looks good, and is easy to read. If I had to do it again, I might get a model with an led instead of incandescent bulb.

    Bought this meter to replace another manufacturer's meter that performed poorly. All components necessary to do the job, except hookup wire, are included and of good quality. Of course, if you need a special adapter for the temp. sensor other than the usuals, then you may have to get an additional adaptor. The meter is easy to read, night and day, and appears to be accurate. If the example I got is representative of the lot, then it is a good add-on temperature meter.

    The instructions that come with the gauge could be clearer, but the installation's fairly simple and straight-forward. Be prepared with the needed amount of 18-gauge wire and lug terminals, as these are not included.
