Engine Oil Pressure Gauge AutoMeter

I got this for my husband's mustang and it works perfectly for his setup.

I've bought 3 of these and each one has been solid. No complaints here and definitely useful for my application.

love these gauges... 2 5/8 is a nice size for easy reading ... my engine puts out more than my 100 psi gauge could read, and this is a perfect replacement

I use an edge insight CTS to monitor most parameters. My 97 powerstroke does not read low side oil press. Through the pcm. Added this one to my pod to have most all of the critical parameters right in front of me while towing.

Great gauges

I bought this guage so it would blend in with my stock interior. I have had the original Phantoms in other projects, and really liked them, and was happy to see this newer version with LED's.This is the typical Autometer quality, well built, well thought out and great looks. I will caution potential buyers: the LED's on these units are pretty bright, and in their default configuration are not dimmable. BUT... Autometer has an LED dimming module (Available on AutoPartsWAY here: http://amzn.to/1y8TurF ) that works absolutely perfect for dimming these gauges, as well as any LED lit gauge.I ended up buying the dimmer module and was surprised to see that it allowed me to use my OEM dimming controls to adjust the brightness of the guages. Once I had the brightness under control, this guage was perfect. They look exactly as pictured in the photos, and I am really happy with them.

hello there, just wanted to write a review about my gauge, now i didn't buy it from AutoPartsWAY but its irrelevant.i have a 91 mustang with a 3 gauge panel under the radio,Ive been a autometer customer for many many years, autometer makes a good quality product. i decided i didn't wanna spend a ton on my new gauges so i installed a autogage (autometer cheaper lineup), the problem i had was that autogage doesn't make electric oil pressure gauges, they are all mechanic.now i love mechanic gauges but im the kind of guy that if i go skydiving the parachute wont open so i knew if i installed a oil pressure one no matter how careful i was something would happen and it would leak hot oil all over my leg and the car. with this in mind i decided to make the middle one my oil press and the outer 2 my water and volts.the middle one is a "z" series electric.on the cheaper gauges the lighting is excellent and on the "z " one the lighting is terrible. its...

What can you say, they've been at it a long time. Quality you can see in so many ways, even down to the gauge movement on startup - just buy it.

As always, autometer gauges work great. Just make sure your operating oil pressure is within the range of this gauge. I need to get a 150psi one.

Very nice adapter, easily welded to oil pan! I would recommend this product to anyone needing to add a temperature gauge to a transmission or oil pan.

I purchased this and other AutoMeter gauges through AutoPartsWAY.com a while back. These gauges were installed in my 2004 F-350 6.0 dually. They have worked excellent. Purchased this gauge because of the quality of all the other autometer gauges I have used. I was a little skeptical about the price as well as it being an electric sending unit. I certainly had nothing to worry about. Top notch quality product. Was easy to install and wire. I verified the accuracy using a mechanical pressure gauge and pressures were within .5psi. NICE GAUGE ONLY PROBLEM IS IT CAME WITH 5 OR 6 FEET OF TUBEING NOT 10 FT. AS THE ADD DISPLAYED, SO IT COST ME ANOTHER $16.00. THATS HOW IT IS THESE DAYS !!!!

hated the dummy oil gauge in my 02 F150. this gauge works great and displays pressure like it should. i instlled this gauge in an Auto Meter gauge pod for a 99 super duty and put it in my truck. the gauge comes with everything you need to install it.i did have to buy a copper wire/compression fiting kit to install mine on my truck.i would recommend buying any auto meter gauge. i have a trans temp gauge as well that works perfectly. both kits came with everything needed. i would also recommend buying the ELECTRIC gauges instead of the mechanical gauges. the mechanical oil pressure gauge for instance, brings oil into your vehicle through copper tubing. if the compression fiting breaks or is not tight enough inside the cab you could have a big oil mess. keep that in mind.

The gauge was very simple to hook up with basic wiring to a power source, and optional back light for night time. The sending unit is one wire and fit in my stock sending unit with out any issues. Seems to be very responsive and accurate.

The pictures do not do this justice!! Wait till you open the gauge and put it in your hand. It has a good solid feel to it!! I wanted something subdue for my old truck as it has to complement the existing gauges. The lettering and numbers are very close to the old chevy numbers. The white letter black ring/bezzle are match as well.Wiring took a little longer than what I expected. You have to tie into a 12 volt power supply, an ignition switched power and a ground for the gauge to work, and you need to tie into the dash lights and ground to get the background lights to work.This was much nicer using a small 16 gauge wire than running that small fragile plastic tube through the fire wall of the mechanical gauge to the block. The adapter that they sent with the gauge fit perfect in my 6.2 diesel.I don't have many miles on the gauge yet, so I can't speak to the longevity of the gauge.

The reason for the 5-star review is due to the fact that it is a great gauge. I won't fault AutoPartsWAY for an improper picture.The item recieved doesn't look like the picture. I know, I know, in the description it states 0-100psi not the 0-150 shown, but I was hoping that the gauge would have been the new style of ultra-lite with the white face gauge. Instead it is the old version with the silver faceplate.Good gauge, easy to install.
