    Doesn't come with brass extension fittings as pictured, but my gauges are electric so I didn't need them annyways.

    Used 2 of these to mount on the handlebar of my motorcycle (I had to rig a mounting system using other parts). The setup looks fine and I like the chrome finish- not sure how long it will last though. It seems over-priced to me, but yes, I bought them knowing the price.

    This pod is very versatile. I have it mounted under the instrument panel shade in my Mazdaspeed6. There isn't a lot of flimsiness about it. It's simple and sturdy. The 30-20 Autometer vacuum/boost gauge I bought to put in barely fit. I cut the mounting threads off the gauge and had to use 90 degree blade connectors to get the gauge to sit flush in the mount. This mount also comes with some 90 degree boost/vacuum gauge fittings and grommets. Very swank, but just almost too shallow.

    I bought this item to mount a Cyberdyne ambient temperature gauge inside my Xterra. I needed something that was adaptable since I wasn't sure where I would end up mounting it.Other reviewers have said this is plastic. It's not. The base is a solid piece of steel and the screws attach the clamp securely to the base, holding it in the desired position without much chance of slipping. It has a fairly wide range of swivel around the axle, so as to obtain the desired angle of viewing.The housing is also a good quality steel. It has a fairly large hole at the back with a rubber grommet for feeding the wires through. There is also a long, wide slot from that hole along one side to the front, so the clamp can get a good grip on the meter.I'm very pleased with this unit. But then, I prefer function over form.

    I have this gauge pod mounted to the steering column of my Evo X. The pod has a very basic design and is simplistic looking, but it offers decent adjustability. It gets the job done and you can't beat the price!

    a perfect cover for the 2" SUNPRO gauges, I used mine on my motorcycle...clamped it to the handlebars.....

    ... and the only brand that will fit the autometer gauge correctly. A great product, solid, great looking. Carbon fiber is nice looking, but it really needs to match the interior. By itself it is just ok.
