    I bought this for its sending unit to use in a 76' Dodge pickup. The mounting plate did not match the Dodge gas tank fuel outlet/sending unit but I was able to adapt this units sender and float to the stock unit without much effort by drilling and tapping new mounting holes. Fuel gauge works again and at much less expense then a new stock sending unit/fuel pickup.

    My son decided to ramp up my truck with bigger gas tanks so we could drive longer between stops for gas. This was part of his project to make the bigger tanks work. It worked. I am very pleased with this purchase.
