    Gauge works great very easy to calibrate. Only complaint is how deep the odometer digital screen is. You have to have your head nearly level with the gauge to read it, unless you can mount it at an angle in your own application

    Other than having to order another part to use this on my truck, it is a great product. I would recommend tis to anyone who needs an easy to see and accurate speedometer.

    I have a little street cruiser muscle car. This GPS Auto-Meter speedometer makes tracking my speed a snap. I can put calculating my transmission / rear end gear ratio and / or tire size to match my speedometer gearing out of my mind. Installing this speedometer was a simple task, instructions were easy to follow. Price was the best @ AutoPartsWAY and at the time Auto Meter provided a rebate.

    I'll like this Auto Meter 4480 Ultra-Lite GPS Speedometer work very good on speed Boat as soon as start moving the GPS show my speed.

    the instruction inside the package was for a TACH not the speedometer and the company would not return my calls,,,,,did some research and found someone with the correct instructions

    This unit made a good replacement for the worn out SW unit in the old diesel truck. The drive cable also needed to be replaced. Time will tell how durable it will be, or if it would have been better to invest in an electronic meter.

    I took liberty to write AutoPartsWAY a note because nowhere on the website did it say that the speedometer pictured is not the one you are ordering. I told them that a 4493 speedometer is a mechanical unit that goes to 160 mph and not 120 mph like ihe one pictured. The reply from AutoPartsWAY was that no action needed to be taken, so I just thought I would let you know if you need a 120 mph mechanical speedometer in 3 3/8" it is part # 4492, not 4493. Either one is a quality unit, race proven, and good looking. You just need to check part numbers before you order.

    I installed this in my 55 T-bird because the original working speedo was inaccurate. Where I live the speed limit is strictly enforced and this GPS speedometer is precise so precise in fact that it matches the Police radar speed signs which show your speed when approaching the sign. Great product and easy to install.

    I replaced all my gauges in my 71 triumph spitfire and just love the way they look in my wood dash ; i also had to buy Auto Meters GPS antenna but thats fine i can change tires or gear settings at anytime i have my speedo read the correct speeds ; was a very easy hook up and yes i would buy it again .

    There is something awesome and comforting about the simplicity and high quality made craftmanship of Autometer gauges. I hope to replace ALL my stock -(also high quality made-but not as diverse in what gauges I can get -ex- I installed a Autometer vacuum gauge in my cj7 where they were not originally offered with my jeep.. Perhaps not really needed but for me it helps to watch how the engine is doing mechanically).Anyways, I digress- As I said, I'd like to replace all my stock gauges with autometer ones and have my new uncut dash cut specifically for these gauges.

    The hardest part was finding the signal wire for my 89 gmc 700r4 speedo. Read numerous forums, wiring diagrams, etc. Try this color diagrams said it was a different color ... blah blah! Finally found it and once wired .... programming was easy. Works like a champ.
