I purchased this gauge to "upgrade" my tricked out Corvette. The gauge it replaces had a black face with white letters (blue light)... that became hard to read (at a glance) at night at speed (1200 hp). The "new" Auto Meter Analog Gauge(s) fixed that problem... and yes I "love" and recommend these gauges.

Nice gauge. Only using the vac side right now. It DOES come with the tubing!

I bought this meter for my 1988 MR2 SC. This style matches the instrumentation nicely even down to the selectable green back-lighting. It's nicely packaged and for the price it has just enough quality to do the job well without being too fancy or overbearing. I decided to buy an established brand instead of a bottom dollar unit because some things just need to cost enough to work right and last and I was not disappointed. The 2601 meter kit together with the 2204 Mounting cup had all the parts I needed to complete the basic installation.Installation, however, was somewhat challenging on my mid-engine car. One of the issues is that the vacuum tube is 10' and that was not long enough to route the tube around the side of the car to the dash. I chose to run it through the center column and had to remove the seats and part of the interior to do it. Even then the tube was just long enough. I purchased 4' of washer hose to jacket the plastic tubing to protect it in the engine...

I ordered a like-new item for half the price of a new gauge. I knew something had to be wrong with it, but I'm resourceful, so I took my chances. The gauge I received was in perfect condition, except that the needle read 3 in/Hg at rest. I knew that would result in inaccurate readings in boost, so I tinkered with it a bit. I pried on the coil just slightly until it read 0 and verified with a hand vacuum pump/gauge. Now it's perfect and has been working very well this past six months or so. As far as the quality of the gauge, I couldn't ask for more. It's very smooth and the needle doesn't catch or bounce anywhere. I would have paid full price and still been completely satisfied.

Looks great and works great showing my boost. Picked it as it fit well with my car's interior. Nuff said :)

great quality autometer product! i had a sunpro that this is replacing. i like how autometer adds a shipping "plug" to keep needle in calibration! my sunpro did not have this. i also like the vaccum fitting it also has so you can easily add it to a system without buying extra items at parts store.

I have bought several different Autometer gauges for different projects and they have all been excellent. This one is no different. Only complaint about the vac gauge is that it doesn't show fluctuation/fluttering that you can see using a vac gauge right by the manifold. This is a downside of having such a long small line between the manifold and gauge, not sure if it would help to upsize the tubing from the 1/8" that the kit comes with.

I have always used autometer gauges and I like their performance and style. I switched over all the electric gauges in my Jeep and decided I needed a vacuum gauge too, this one fit the bill nicely

I use this type of Autometer gauges in all my cars. They are simple and inexpensive and I never had one fail.I like the electronic gauges as well and they have better connectors and lights, but the cost is prohibitive considering these just work perfectly every time

Product has arrived without any problems in the timing agreed.AutoPartsWAY's scheme to know if tha parts fits your car is very precise. Really liked.

This is an accurate gauge that does its job.The image and description on this page do not match the actual product. The image shows(part#2617) a 60lb. gauge with no vacuum reference. The description says this item is a fuel pressure gauge, it is not. It measures manifold pressure.

A nice, easy to install gauge from auto meter. Matches most Amber lit gauges well.Would be a huge improvement if it was back lit, if you're picky about that keep looking

Autometer normally makes very good gauges. This one is particularly well made. You have to pull a vacuum line all the way from your dashboard (or gauge pod) to your turbo which can be problematic. The vacuum line supplied with the gauge is a joke. It thin and would bent while you pull it. Or melt if it would be touching your engine. I have enclosed the line into a rubber tubing to keep it safe. You can grab such tubing in any Home Depot or OSH. Also I advise to use bigger diameter T-fitting for connecting to the turbo control valve. But when it's all done and working you'll be happy :-).Note that the is a flaw in some of the boost gauges. It can rattle (or shake) on low engine RPM. This is very annoying. I had to change a few of boost gauge until I found one which does not do this and keep steady though the whole RPM range.

I compared this gauge to a more expensive autometer electrical gauge and the 4-bar MAP sensor on my ECU and it was always within 1in/HG or 1lb psi of their values. In fact it reacted faster to changes than the electrical gauge. My only complaint is with the hard nylon hose that came with the unit. Because the hose was coiled it was almost impossible to get it through the firewall to the vacuum source without kinking it. Also, the rubber connectors were cracked within a few weeks (located far away from any major heat sources).Replaced the hoses and connectors with some decent vacuum line and everything was fixed!
