Description / What It Does	An exhaust system kit may include pipes, mufflers, resonators, clamps, hangers, and gaskets that route exhaust safely away from the vehicle and reduce noise. Leaks can cause noise, fumes, poor emissions results, and rust issues.
Replace / Inspect Guidance	Inspect yearly and before winter; replace sections when rusted through, leaking, loose, or noisy. In salt-belt areas, exhaust parts may need replacement every 5–7 years.

Maintenance Tips	Wash salt from the underside when possible, replace broken hangers quickly, and fix leaks before they damage nearby parts.

AEM Air Intake Systems including our Cold Air Intake, Short Ram Air Intake, and Brute Force Air Intake Systems are guaranteed for the life of your car or truck. A cold air intake system relocates the filter outside of the engine compartment to deliver cool air inlet temperatures. Cooler air carries more oxygen, which translates into a more intense explosion in the combustion chamber to create more horsepower and torque. But that's only part of the power equation. Tuning the inlet pipe in length and diameter to match the engine's resonance helps move more air to the cylinders (think of your engine as a big air pump), and this tuning allows us to deliver large power gains. We also monitor fuel trim correction factors and all OBDII sensors during product development to eliminate leaning the engine out and/or throwing a check engine light.
