Production: 08/2000-, This is the rearward bushing 1 per Arm The AST polyurethane bushing is much easier to "press fit" into the control arm bushing housing, compared to OE.
Observe the following instructions if installing the updated AST bushing: Remove old bushing and press new bushing into housing (inner sleeve can be removed to ease installation, along with a light coating of silicone-based grease if so desired). Place the bevel-shaped triangular washer over the control arm spigot, followed by the bushing. Ensure that the cut-out on the AST bushing is centrally located against the triangular washer when in a neutral position, before deadlocking the nut.
